September 3rd Updates
Well Spring is here at long last, yay!! Unfortunately if you're like me that means less time to scrap and more time in the garden! I have been on a roll so hope to continue! Enough about me , here are the updates for today we have some wonderful charities to 'scrap for' very worth causes;
A Passion For Craft will be donating 10% of each sale to the Cancer Foundation to help in the fight and research in women's cancers .The fundraising will run from now (23 Aug) until the 4th of October and I will announce how much was raised at The Girls Night In. (info at scrapchat)Anyone who wishes to purchase something from the store and if you are going to the Girls Night In fundraiser I am happy to bring your order with me to save on postage.If you wish to use this service simply leave a brief note in the comments section at the checkout . ( please note that all orders must be paid for prior to the night)So get behind this great cause and show your support.
Heaven-Sent Scrapbooking - Competitions for September 2008: Melissa, Brigitte and Ingeborg created three scrapbooking competitions for this month. All the details of the September Competitions can be found on our forum (or you can just follow this link). Please upload all your entries in our September 2008 Competition Gallery.
Melissa's Competition: Challenge yourself to create a layout using only patterned papers – no plain cardstock allowed. You may use plain coloured embellishments like ribbons, flowers, brads, eyelets and rub-ons but your title should also be patterned too if you use one.
Brigitte's Competition: Do a layout on a male in your life and how they inspire you (father, granddad, husband, brother, friend etc). You must NOT include any flowers, hearts or anything pink. Ingeborg's Competition: Create a layout using the sketch below (for a larger picture, please check the September 2008 Gallery). For all rules & more details vists Heaven-Sent Scrapbooking.
